Thank you so much for checking out my Teddy Bear Tote Bag pattern! By following this pattern, you'll be able to create a 13"x14" tote bag (not counting strap length) featuring a cute teddy design! This pattern includes written instructions and a numbered crochet graph/chart. To complete this project, you’ll need multiple skeins of medium weight 4 acrylic yarn in 5 different colors. You’ll of course need a crochet hook (I alternated between using my F-3.75mm hook and my J-5.75 mm hook), as well as scissors and a yarn needle to weave in any loose ends and to sew all the pieces of your bag together. You may also want to sew a fabric bow onto your teddy like I did, completely optional!
This entire pattern is done using only the single crochet stitch (US terminology), so even though it may be challenging, it is doable for beginners! The only daunting part of this pattern is all of the crazy color-switching, but I will provide tips and tricks for those who haven’t attempted intarsia crochet/chart-reading before.
